Some of the most common conditions we see and treat on a daily basis include nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia. These are known as "refractive errors". They are not eye diseases but conditions in which the eye focuses light incorrectly and insufficiently. People with these conditions typically have very healthy eyes, although, one can certainly have an eye disease and also have one of these refractive errors. Below are short videos which explain each condition.
