Dr. Janot’s Vision Source was nominated for the 2007-2008 “Practice of the Year” by the national executive team of Vision Source, LLP. His practice was one of only 19 nominated throughout all of North America. The nominations were presented at the Vision Source North American Meeting held April 2-6, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. While attending, Dr. Janot participated in meetings and workshops dedicated to the latest technological advancements in eye care to better serve his patients.
Dr. Janot was named Louisiana's "Optometrist of the Year" by the Optometry Association of Louisiana at their Annual Convention held June 12-15, 2008 in Lafayette. This is the 4th time that Dr. Janot has received the award, recognizing doctors who have exhibited leadership as well as service to the profession of optometry. Dr. Janot now owns and is practicing independently at the Sulphur Vision Source.
